Art Workshop – Printmaking with Dana Coleman

The session starts with a wander around the riverside collecting leaves, stems, flowers and seed heads. The bush found objects will then be used for mono-printing onto paper or doing rubbing with a water-soluble graphite onto paper and colouring with watercolour.
Dana developed her love for these printing methods in Indonesia, where she practised different techniques with adults and children. She says, ‘it’s easy to get beautiful results quickly and it’s fun to experiment’.
