Awe and Wonder in Nature Art workshop

These workshops will be held in the inspiring surrounds of the Euroa Arboretum that will be in the full bloom of Spring.

Time & Date: 2x sessions: 10:00am – 1:00pm, Sunday the 9th and 30th of October 2022
Location: Euroa Arboretum
Cost: $45 for two workshops (some materials and morning tea included)

At the first class you’ll be setting up an easel and drawing your choice of the diverse landscapes there. The painting class is an extension of the landscape drawing workshop. You will select one of your previous drawings and use this as a reference for the acrylic painting. Registration is for two sessions.

Anna grew up in Strathbogie where her family has resided and worked as farmers for several generations. Her love of the landscape grew from living on a farm. Anna studied Fine Art and Teaching in Melbourne. She’s taught drawing and painting in both WA and Victoria. Last year she undertook an artist in residence in Tasmania. For Anna, painting the landscape has been about capturing a moment in time – a tree in the night, a row of pine trees, blue hills, evening light, shadows cast by trees along an empty road and white billowing clouds.

Check out her website for more images of her art work –

Numbers limited, more information on registration.

The Strathbogie Ranges Conservation Management Network offers these two sessions as the last in a series of art workshops, that aim to connect people with the natural world with new and deep insight. This series is funded through Landcare.
