As is now firmly established Festival of Fungi tradition, the official opening of the biennial Festival of Fungi was the much loved Bioluminescence light show at the Northern Hotel in Euroa (ignore that the equally iconic Puff Ball dance was on the previous weekend). Little Projector Company was back again with their psychedelic light displays co-created with the help of local school children. The light drizzle actually added to the atmosphere of the event, with streams of light projecting through the mist onto the walls of the Northo.
Food trucks again provided warm dinner treats to those luck enough to wander through the gates, with plenty of socialising and merriment between locals over cold beers and hot curries. Live music was intimately nestled into a side room of the sprawling Northo, rewarding those curious enough to poke their heads in.
Thanks to Little Projector Company for creating the amazing light and soundscapes, to the SRCMN members who made it all happen, to the food truck providers for dishing up delicious dinners, to the management of the North Eastern Hotel for being so generous with their support and to those who braved to cold and drizzle to see Euroa in a new light.
