Back by popular demand, the Strathbogie Ranges Festival of Fungi is back and bigger than ever. Starting with this great mushroom identification workshop with the ever enchanting Alison Pouliot.
Participants will spend the morning around a display table of fungus specimens in various forms and manifestations, learning the basics of mushroom identification, before partaking in an exciting field trip to search for fungi of interest. Supplementary notes will be provided.
Participants are encouraged to bring specimens along to the workshop for identification. Signed copies of Alison’s recent book, The Allure of Fungi, will be available for purchase.
Lunch and morning tea included in ticket price. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements before the event.
